Healing of the Heart

Healing of the Heart is a Grief Retreat open to both Men and Women who are grieving a loss. This is a one night retreat helping us as we grieve to search for Hope. So much of the time we do not think Hope is possible. Come and find the Hope to help you on the journey to healing your heart.

About the Presenter:
Our retreat Director will be Jewell Bayhi. Jewell has been working in Grief Ministry while serving as a DRE at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish in Mandeville. About a year ago, she became the Coordinator of Grief Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans with the Office of Marriage and Family Life. The speakers will be from those who have suffered loss. They are now sharing with others how they found hope and how they strengthened their faith.

Registration Information:
The retreat check-in is between 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday and concludes around 5:00pm on Saturday. Registration includes meals and accommodations. To register for this retreat, you may do so online by following the link provided below or calling our retreat office at 504-267-9604. The cost of this one night retreat will be $100.00. The deposit will be $50.00. A non-refundable deposit is required to register. You can choose to pay just the deposit upon registration or to pay in full. On Friday you may come early and meet others who are also grieving for some social time before the retreat sessions begin.
